Tea Party

We're back on Thursday 26th at 7pm to a shiney new term and straight away volunteering to help or host group (we're not really part of Boreatton Scout Group - we are our own Boreatton ESU, but we are friends) by providing refreshments for the Group AGM 7pm-8pm.

If you were in the US (and a girl) you'd get a badge for that (how sexist!)

Then we will follow up with our own meeting 8:05-9:35pm and plan the prog for the term.
Bring something nice to offer the AGM peeps, but not too nice so as to be sure they leave some that we can eat ourselves after. I'll bring the Tea.

It's usually been chilly on this walk but should be nice and sunny this year! Hurrah! At last!
I cannot go this time as I'll be with our BEASTs (Boreatton Explorers Aeronautic and Space Team) launching our rocket at the UKRoc regional heats so yo will need to have let Richard or Chris know and you will need to provide petrol money as they don't have a magic car like mine! Note that it is Saturday, not the usual Sunday.

First week back

As is traditional, we do not have a Unit meeting in the first week back at school because you are all too excited at resuming your studies, and I am generally too busy at work... However, we are de to compete in a rocketry competition on Saturday and our rocket is still a collection of (well designed and engineered) cardboard tubes!
The rocketry team need to meet and complete the BEAST2 at my house on Thursday at least... Please sign up to ALL the sessions you could come to and I will email you to confirm which ones we will run.

Just a week to go

Our regional rocketry competition is on 21 April (soon!) and we do not yet have a design!!! I will help you sort it out if you come over to work on our rocket so sign up on the eventbrite tickets below. It needs at least 2 or 3 of you (otherwise it ends up being work not fun)... so sign up for all the days you can come and I will contact you to agree one date. I suggest we meet 10ish and should be able to make enough progress in the morning (but welcome to spend longer!)

Boreatton Explorers Easter Holiday Out-of-School Club

An opportunity for your parents to finally get a break from your Chocolate charged frenzy! Come and sort out your DofE, prep a route card, and build a rocket! 
I will be at home and hope to see a bunch of you on Wednesday 4 April morning from 10am to noon and we should be able to make progress on all those things we didn't make progress on during term!
